The Sabiny Transformation Initiative conducted a targeted training in Kween District, engaging 60 local leaders from Kaptoyoy and Binyiny sub-counties. This initiative aimed to strengthen community efforts in ending child marriage and teenage pregnancies by equipping leaders with practical skills and knowledge on positive parenting and adolescent development.
Through interactive presentations, discussions, and Q&A sessions, leaders explored ways to create safe, supportive environments for adolescents, promote gender equality, and advocate for equal opportunities in education for both girls and boys.
This training marks a key step toward shifting harmful community norms and shaping policies that empower young people—ensuring that every child, regardless of gender, has a chance to thrive.
